Sliders are small burgers and they are delicious . It’s important to get good quality of grass fed organic ground bison. Organic burger sliders cook quickly and stay juicy.
Serves 5-6 sliders
1 pound organic grass fed ground bison,
2 tablespoons olive oil,
1 tablespoon dijon,
1 tablespoon fresh thyme,
5 garlic cloves, minced,
1-2 teaspoons salt
5-6 hamburger buns,
2-3 red tomatoes, sliced,
2 cups fresh spinach,
organic ketchup, for serving
Place a grill to medium high heat.
Mix gently with a fork the ground bison, olive oil, dijon, fresh thyme, garlic, salt and pepper into large bowl. Round the burgers into 2 inches wide.
When the grill is hot, place the burgers on the grill and cook 5 minutes on each side. Transfer the burgers to a platter, cover with aluminum foil and allow to rest for few minutes.
In this time toast the buns cut side down on the grill for few seconds. Place each burger on top of a bun with a slice of tomato and some spinach. Cover with the top bun and serve hot with ketchup.
