1 cup sugar
1 cup unbleached white flour
¼ cup oil
¼ sparkling water
1 pk vanilla sugar
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon rum essence
Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Separate the egg whites and the yolk. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until get almost fluffy add the sugar and combine.
Add yolks, then keep mixing add the vanilla sugar, flour, oil and sparkling water.
Mix again until well combine all the ingredients. Butter and flour the bottom and sides of 9x5x3 inch (23x13x8 cm) loaf pan.
Put 2/3 of the mixture into the pan and mix the remaining with cocoa and rum essence. Pour it over the white composition and mix with a fork.
Bake 30 40 minutes or until the cake is done.
