Chocolate Biscuit Salami looks very tempting.To give as gifts, unwrap the chilled salami and dust with powdered sugar. Reseal in a new piece of plastic and wrap in parchment paper and tie ends with kitchen twine. Place a label on your salami.

Ingredients
3 ½ cups petit beurre biscuits
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup organic butter
1/2 cup organic milk
2 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon rum extract
zest from 1 lemon or orange
touch of cloves and cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Crush the biscuits by hand until you get small pieces.
Combine milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Add butter and stir until melted.
Add cocoa, vanilla extract and rum . Bring to a boil. Set aside, stir in the lemon zest and cloves, mix very well.
Pour syrup over biscuits slowly, stirring from time to time until crackers are soft.
On a plastic sheet sprinkle cocoa and place the composition. Roll up tightly in the form of a salami and push to remove air from both ends.
Tie tightly at both ends and refrigerate a few hours or overnight.
Cut slices and serve.
