Pizza with Chicken

From Egypt to Greece to Rome and Pompeii, we find many examples of dishes that remember pizza in their ingredients, composition and cooking.

Pizza with chicken that i made is one of my favorite homemade pizza,very light and healthy.


Ingredients:

2 cups white flour

1 cup warm water

1 tablespoon dry east

1 teaspoon salt

1 chicken breast cubes

1 tomato sliced

½ green pepper sliced

4 mushrooms sliced

½ onion sliced

1 cup tomatoes sauce for pizza

1 cup cheese Gruyere blend

1 tablespoon oil

salt,pepper,oregano


Directions:

Wash very well the chicken and the vegetables.In a cup mix warm water with dry yeast and leave it for 5 minutes to dissolve. Be careful don’t use cold or hot water. In a bowl add the flour, salt, the water with the yeast and mix very well and knead by hand.If the dough seems too wet, sprinkle on a bit more flour.

Cover the bowl with a kitchen cloth and let sit for 40 minutes to 1 hour in a warm place.

Preheat the oven to 500F

Pat dough out on a well greased pizza pan or cookie sheet. Brush the top of the dough with olive oil.Spoon on the tomato sauce,sprinkle with half of the cheese , the onion,mushrooms,chicken,pepper,tomato and another half of the cheese.Add same salt pepper, oregano.

Bake pizza about 15 minutes or until the crust is browned. Of course you can place your desired toppings on the pizza.

Serve hot.
